Return to Tinnin, a biographical novel, is about a girl who became a young adult in the South during the U.S. Civil War. The main character, Ellen Loretta Shepard Lee, lived in good times and not so good times. Her life of family, poverty, romance, success, failure, compassion, faith, and love served as a role model for her family.
