The Christian is defined by wilderness. On this earth, Christ calls each of us to share in His own wilderness suffering. But we don’t go alone. He goes before us. And together in our wilderness, in our tragedy, in our sickness, in our hurt, He sustains us with the power of the Gospel. Here in the wilderness, a man will either run to Jesus or run from him.
